My name's Leo and I take photos.
Specifically, I am a landscape photographer as that is my main point of interest, however I'm currently getting into wildlife photography ever since I traveled to Bali to volunteer with the wildlife there during the summer of 2019. Along side that, I do the occasional bit of portrait and studio photography.
I'm currently based in West Sussex, not too far from Brighton, so most of my landscape photography is taken around here, in Brighton, by the coast and across the stunning hills of the South Downs.
I don't just photograph in Sussex. I travel across the country fairly regularly to explore derelict buildings and take photos to capture the history of the building in a selection of images.
My interest in photography began at the age of 14 where I was given a very small compact camera for my birthday. From there, I saved up and purchased my first proper DSLR camera, eventually building a collection of various lenses. I attended The BRIT School for my college, where I achieved a grade Distinction * in my Level 3 BTEC in Photography. Not only that, I also studied film and media in my UAL Extended Level 3 Diploma, in which I achieved a Distinction. I have a passion for film, especially documentary making, however my heart lies in photography.
Moving along from photography, I also enjoy hiking, which is perfect when living by the South Downs. I'm from a family heavily involved in aviation, so learning to fly is something that I'd like to persue, especially since spending 3 years in the Air Cadets. Also, I aspire to travel the world and photograph as much of it as I can.
